ERROR – This website is temporarily unavailable, please try again later.

I recently purchased a domain name and web hosting package, I managed to upload a number of html files via the online ftp and these would load and go live straight away.
Then yesterday I added web forwarding on my domain http://www.mrgordo.com and set up this to forward with masking to http://www.mrgordo.com/GordoFrameset2.html but ever since the following error has appeared on all of the html pages I have uploaded?
“This website is temporarily unavailable, please try again later.”
How long will the site be down, is this due to the web forwarding or something else I am not aware of?
Kind regards
Gordon

I phoned Godaddy support just now, they said they are working on the problem that there is no connectivity anymore between their datacenters and the rest of the internet ^^ Lets start praying.

@mr_gordo
If the domain is associated with a hosting account, and you setup forwarding, the A record will be updated to our forwarding address. Because of this, the domain will not resolve to the hosting server, therefore displaying the error that is on the screen. You will need to point the domain to the IP address of the server, and redirect to the folder via .htaccess, or if you are on a Linux account, through the Redirects Manager.

@rantanplan
There was an issue with intermittent connectivity issues with the EU datacenter. At this time, the issue has been resolved.

@vinsai
Here is what I can tell, you have multiple A records set for the domain, one pointing to our forwarding address, and one to a hosted IP. Make sure that each domain associated with your hosting account has only one A record that points to the IP address of your hosting account.

I have a friend that tried from Australia and it worked and from a different USA state and worked fine for them, but not me. Can you please check into this for me as I have not been able to view my site since I purchased it. Thanks!

@daniel_neves
From what I can see, the site is up. Looks good!
@tanya_leon
It looks like the domain is resolving to an InstantPage account. Do you have a hosting provider that it should be pointed to?

Hi, I’ve just finished up a website for a cliente of mine hosting an account with you, I do not own the domain but I administer it for the time being. I have forwarded the domain http://www.flatratedrafting.com to http://www.flatratedrafting.com/joomla , no masking. Once Dns updates the following message appears, showing nothing but this: “This website is temporarily unavailable, please try again later.” I’ve read the other threads but they are weeks old. Besides the above, another concern is the whole website is based on DBs and They were not backed up… I don’t know if this could affect DB’s configuration also. Please indicate what needs to be done since I cannot wrapp this up until it is fully functional.

@peterhohloch
Keep in mind that when you setup the forwarding, the DNS changes on the domain, therefore the hosting account is not accessible. If the site is in a specific directory, simply create a redirect on the root of the account. Make sure that you have the domain pointing to the IP address of the hosting server.

Today i’we redirected http://xploreromania.com to http://www.xploreromania.com/ and i get this error: This website is temporarily unavailable, please try again later.
What can I do?
Thanks!

@mimi1910
I am unable to replicate the issue you have explained. When navigating to the site with or without the WWW, I am directed to xploreromania.com. What is the URL you set for the blog when you installed it?

@iman_shoppe
It appears that you have placed the website within the /kedaikami directory. From what I can tell, you are on a Windows server, and the redirect can be done via your IIS settings. I would recommend reviewing the following article:
