godaddy should be able to accommodate macs and allow mac users to upload multiple files at a time.

The multiple file upload uses Flash to upload files. The required version of Flash that supports multiple file uploads not supported in the newer versions Mac OS. If you would like to upload multiple files, you may want to use a stand alone FTP client. FileZilla is a popular FTP client that is supported on Macs. Information on how to use FileZilla can be reviewed here:
