Google site Wordpress install issue

I have a google site mirrored on a godaddy URL. Recently I decided to host through godaddy and want to build a wordpress site on the URL. I’ve installed wordpress, but when I try to login it goes to a google site template page that says “the page doesn’t exist”. I imagine I need to uncross some wires here.

The WP files are installed in example.com/test

You will want to ensure that your domain name is configured to point to the Web Hosting account that you setup through us. You will want to check your “@” A Record and ensure that this uses the IP address of your hosting plan, and the “WWW” CNAME should point to the “@” symbol. The settings should resemble this:

A Record
Host: @
Points to: (your hosting IP)

CNAME
Host: www
Points to: @
