Note that shared hosting accounts do not support streaming. This type of service would need a virtual dedicated or dedicated server due to the resource intensiveness of the software.

@camgirl – If you are using a 3-rd party service to host the video streaming then you would not need the Virtual or Dedicated Server.
If the streaming were handled by the other service, they would probably give you a JavaScript or iFrame code to embed on your site. This would be compatible with the shared hosting environment as it is not handling the actual streaming of video.
