@Pandey,

You will want to refer to the instructions provided in the following URL to cancel Instant Page:

http://support.godaddy.com/help/article/6473

Once canceled, you will then need to point your domain to the IP address of your hosting account. This can be done through the Total DNS Control Center interface of your domain manager. To update your domain DNS settings:

How do you cancel Instant Page when it does not show as active in the Account Manager?
This site sweetwaterphotography.ca has an instant page activated (somehow) is not showing active when viewing the My Account>Account Manager>Website Builder/Instant Page.

@sqlnewbie,

If you are showing an active InstantPage account setup within your customer account, you will want to refer to the information provided in the following article to cancel the service from your account:

@chrisg
Thanks for the link to cancel instantpage.
Do we still need to point the domain name to the IP address of the hosting account?

The help page Canceling an InstantPage Account makes no mention of this.

I’ve looked at the Managing DNS for Your Domain Names and it makes no reference to what you suggest.

What exactly do I do?

BTW what a nightmare this is.
Like most I used instantpage as a holding page till my site was ready.
I’ve uploaded my files and want to start work.

This is my first time with godaddy, so I’m totally new to it all.

I really could do with a step by step guide to getting my site up and running.
:)

I’ve just checked my web site, and it is now displaying 404 page not found with the party graphic asking if i’m in the wrong place.

@msace – Yes, you’ll need to find the IP address of your hosting account. Then edit the DNS accordingly:

Thanks for pointing me Nate!
That was exactly the step by step guide I was looking for.

Please consider updating the docs:

http://support.godaddy.com/help/article/680

Both should surely include a link (and brief explanation) to the link you provided.

@peteb,

Content within an InstantPage site cannot be directly moved into a hosting account.
