HTM files not updating on FTP server

I used Dreamweaver to create pages for a school project, and I uploaded them to make sure they would go live. However, after I edited the files and tried to resave them on the server, I am still seeing the old files. I center-aligned the image and changed the button links to go to other HTM pages, but the site still shows the old version with the left-aligned image and button links to other JPEGs. I tried deleting and uploading them again, but I still get the old files coming up in the browser. I resaved the files with new names and uploaded those, but the pages won’t load at all even though I see the files in the FTP File Manager.
The first site is:
latashawillis.com/joiedeviveindex.htm
The second site is:
latashawillis.com/jdvindex.htm
I talks to support about the fit site, and he said he could see the new site loading in the browser. I tried emptying my browser cache, and I tried going to another computer, but I still get the old site. How can I get the updated site to load in the browser instead of the od site?

I’m not quite clear on the issue that you are encountering. When I visit both of the pages you provided, I see nearly identical sites. Both pages are centered and the buttons go to different pages. The only difference I found was that the links for the buttons were slightly different. If you are still encountering trouble, can you provide a more details description of what you are seeing and what should be occurring?

I discovered the problem since my last post. The previous version of the first index.htm file I made was still on the server and did not update after synchronization. Once I deleted it and uploaded the new file, the correct version appeared. I am now dealing with broken image links even though I see them on the server, so I am going to try removing all the related files from the server and uploading again. Thanks for looking at the sites, and sorry about the typos. ![]()

I’m glad to hear that you were able to resolve the issue you were encountering. When I take a look at the site now, I am not seeing any broken images. Were you able to resolve that as well? If you have any further questions or issues, please feel free to post them on the Forums.

Thanks! My site directory on my computer and the directory on the server were not matching, and although I deleted files from the server and tried to synchronize, the server would not update correctly. I recreated the files, deleted all the old files from the server and uploaded them again. That solved the problem. Thanks for your input.
