Html Editor Questions

I’m kind of old school. I like to code web pages by hand. When I use the GoDaddy html editor, it seems that after I save my html coding, the GoDaddy editor decides my coding isn’t standards compliant. The GoDaddy editor adds html coding to my web page in a feeble attempt to somehow bring my coding up to standards. (I’m not talking about GoDaddy ads.) Is there any way to turn off this “feature” where the GoDaddy editor rewrites my non compliant coding?

Get another editor, I love dreamweaver cs5 partly because I can mix coding and speed things up with drag and drop plus it updates links and stuff so easily, really I could get along with out it. I have CS5 Design Premium at the moment but going for the full masters collection in December.

I use NetBeans on a linux OS, but Eclipse is a good one for windows or linux. No preview, pure code. I love it.

To answer your question, unfortunately no, you can not turn this off. However, you might want to send your feedback to Suggestions@GoDaddy.com. We always welcome new ideas regarding your system.
If you’re looking for something that doesn’t require any coding/programming experience, I would recommend looking into our WebSite Tonight program:
