Installing WP 404 Error

I’m attempting to install WP on a new site. I’ve tried manually installing it and then using the auto install from Godaddy, but not matter what I do it’s giving a 404 error. What is going on?

Are you installing this into a root or sub directory? If it’s a sub directory, make sure that you are accessing the full path of the directory, otherwise it may not be finding the index file.
