This could be caused by a couple of reasons. However, The most common is not having a hosting plan active and set up on the domain. In order to use FTP you need to have a hosting plan active and set up on our system. If you happen to be using our free Instantpage service please note this does not have FTP access.

I have a service for 2 years and it appears to be active. I have entered rdatech.org as the Host, my account name, and the password I created when I activated the Hosting Service. It is the one requiring the special characters. Still cannot connect.

If you have set up your hosting and are using the correct hosting login and password and are still unable to connect you will need to contact our support team so they can properly troubleshoot the issue. Support Team
