Random 404 Error
lowercasejames said 1 year, 3 months ago:
I recently updated my wordpress theme and removed previous content to start fresh at http://www.thedistrictlights.com. Everything was working fine until a few days ago when I started seeing random 404 errors whenever browsing or editing the site. The 404 error comes from a redirect issue, where user enters http://www.thedistrictlights.com, and then is unjustifiably redirected to http://www.thedistrightlights.comHJXET or some other combination of letters in the URL after the slash. It’s annoying, and I can’t seem to make it go away. I’ve tried revising my permalinks, deactivating all plugins, etc. Nothing seems to work. Any ideas?

@lowercasejames
The issue you are experiencing may be related to filters we may have currently applied to protect your site. They are enabled when a large volume of external traffic occurs on the server and we need to ensure only legitimate requests are being processed. Our servers and environments are fully operational at this time. They will drop off automatically. If you continue to face the same issues, please contact our Support Team directly to have the account reviewed.

I have been testing the connections externally, and cannot replicate the 404 error. Please contact our Support Team directly when you are receiving the error.
