Server is very slow

My site @ alanbumgarner.com is taking a long time to respond, about 30-45 seconds or more. The first few attempts the site never loaded at all. This is unacceptable. I know I’m on a shared plan but I’ve never experienced such slow response times like this before. Is there an issue with the servers? If this can’t be resolved quickly I’ll have to transfer out.

Everything in the hosting environment looks good. That is to say, there are no issues that would impact the load time on the site right now. As you have created the site in WordPress, I would encourage you to review these tips:

I am also running terribly slow. I have 2 plugins (WP ecommerce and Jetpack installed) on a fairly new TwentlyEleven them (1 hour of editing only). Loading from multiple browsers, its slow as molasses. The back-end is the same.
Yes I followed those links, and yes I used the P3 profiler. No Issues with plugins.
