Hello, i have a small business that i built on my iweb application and i got a domain for it when it started and hooked that up with mobileme, i forget how alot of it worked back then. But now i am trying to change my hosting on the iweb site from mobileme to the godaddy one i just bought. The site would still be published from iweb but to the godaddy domain and godaddy hosting, but i cant seem to switch the Total DNS thing from mobileme to godaddy, Please help.

Hey John,

You’ll have to take a few steps to get this running. First, you’ll need to make sure your new hosting account is setup with the domain you wish to use. Once this is done, you will need to make sure the domain now points to this this hosting account. To do so you will want to point your domain to our hosting nameservers:

Additionally, to ensure any zone records that were changed are now back to their default settings, you may wish to take the steps located in this link:

Finally, you’ll need to publish your iWeb site to a folder on your local computer, then upload the contents of that folder to your hosting account. We have a great walk-through for this here:

Good luck, and let us know if you run into any issues!
