Transferring to another webhost

Hi, I needed to switch to classic hosting from 4GH. I have created/purchased a classic web hosting package and now I want to move my domain name over to it. How do I do that? Whenever I try and set up the classic account, obviously it is telling me that it is being used by another hosting account. Please help!

While the 4GH account is still setup in use towards your domain, you cannot setup the Legacy plan till the 4GH account has been canceled.
Since you are moving the domain and the hosting content over, I recommend making a backup of your existing site content before canceling the account. Once you have a copy of your site files, you will want to refer to the information provided in the following article:

Why would you want to go from 4gh to the legacy hosting? What are the benefits of not going to 4gh?

There are a few minor differences in supported features that are only presented in the Legacy Hosting plans, while a few others are also only offered in 4GH Hosting accounts. There should be a full details option for both Windows and Linux plans on each of the referenced links I’ve provided that outlines the available features between each.
