Using classic ASP to send text messages (SMS) to cell phones

My domain is prime-phoenix.com and I have a need to contact people when certain events occur on my web site. I want to use classic ASP to send plain text messages to the cell phones of the people involved. I do not want to use a pay-per-message SMS hosting site, and although I know sending SMS text messages can be done with ASP, I cannot find any solid code examples. Does GoDaddy offer a facility to send SMS text message? or does anyone know how it can be done?

It can be done in our hosting environment, however it would need to be done via email. Most providers can convert messages to SMS such as Verizon which uses phonenumber@vzw.com. As for specific code, I do not have any to offer, although I am confident that other Forum members will be able to offer advice.
