@saftek
I was able to access your site vulcandrifterriders.com without any issues. Were you still encountering issues with your site at this time? If you are still receiving errors, please provide some additional information relating to the error and how we can duplicate the error, and we will be able to take a better look at your site.

After about 45 minutes it starting responding again. Tried to contact via different machines and networks. Have two sites at that ip, both were unavailable. Thanks for the follow-up. I wonder what happened here.

I have been having similar response problems intermittently throughout the day with all of my sites hosted here.

I’m sorry to hear that you both had some intermittent down time. This will allow our support teams to review the issue as it is occurring, and will give our support teams a better idea of what is happening. This is the third time my site has stopped responding to ANY sort of request. Won’t serve plain html, or anything else.
The past two times it started responding after I contacted CS, or after about an hour… not sure if the two are related. Those are the times I discovered they weren’t responding. I don’t know if there were other times.
Any suggestions on what I can do to diagnose/prevent this from happening?
This site runs html, SMF, some photopost software, mysql, php.
Thanks.

@saftek
I checked your site a few times today and I didn’t get any errors when trying to access it. Were you getting a particular error when the site wasn’t resolving?
Also, when I was taking a look at your site, it looked like you were using a Windows hosting plan. If your site does not use ASP or MSSQL databases, you might want to consider switching to Linux hosting. Linux hosting generally performs better with PHP based sites, and might alleviate some of the issues that you described. If you would like to try Linux, this article explains how you can change the operating system of your hosting plan:
