Website not showing up, 403 + 404 error

So, I am new to this web hosting stuff. I moved the welcome, gdform, missing, php and webformmailer files out of the html(root) folder. I moved my html file and assoc image into the html folder. Now I get a 403/404 error… Any thoughts? I tried editing the permissions of the files to make them executable(godaddy ftp manager).. I am at a loss.

The default file that you have in the root needs to be one of the following names to show by default depending on your operating system:

I renamed it to index and all is well!
