I have installed Wordpress according to the ‘Installing WordPress on Your Hosting Account’ tutorial, but I keep getting the GoDaddy ‘Do you own this domain?’ page when I try to access the admin page from the link provided in the successful installation email.

I had an Instantpage associated with my domain originally – I thought this might have been the problem, so I cancelled it. Now I get the ‘Do you own this domain?’ page instead. I have deleted and re-installed Wordpress but have the same problem.

My domain is henryking.co (wordpress admin should be henryking.co/wp-admin).

Thanks.

@hjak

The domain henryking.co is currently pointing to our parked IP address. You’ll want to update the domain’s A record to point to the IP address of your hosting account:

How do I find the IP address of my hosting account?

Managing DNS for Your Domain Name

Once the domain is pointing to your hosting account, you will be able to access the Wordpress website through the domain.

Let us know if you have any trouble!
