I created subdomain.domain.com. It works.
But http://www.subdomain.domain.com doesn’t work.
What should I do?

@shevv,

Please reply back with the Sub-Domain in question so we can review this further.

However, you will want to edit the DNS for the Domain:

Managing DNS for Your Domain Names

1- Click Add New CNAME Record.
2- In the Enter an Alias Name field, create an entry by appending the www prefix to your subdomain. For example, http://www.one, where one is the subdomain for your domain.
3- In the Points to Host Name field, enter your Web site URL. For example, one.coolexample.com.
4- Click OK.

It may take up to 24 to 48 hours for the change to become effective.

@shevv – These forums automatically add the http:// sometimes. The CNAME record should not include the http:// part…

Host/Alias: www.god Points to: god.dvoinik.ru

If that does not work for your situation you can create a forwarded sub-domain for www.god

@Nate D

It’s impossible to add ‘http://’ that’s why I entered just ‘www.god’.

About your second solution. I’ve registered on godaddy only shevv.com with hosting. dvoinik.ru registered on another registrant. I’ve attached shevv.ru to godaddy hosting but I can see it only in Hosting. I can add subdomain god.dvoinik.ru but again I can’t add http://www.god.dvoinik.ru

Do you have another ideas?

@shew – Try adding http://www.god.dovinik.ru to your hosting account:

Hello,

Has anyone found an easy solution for this problem? I’ve recently created a subdomain and want to be able to be able to access it by http://www.subdomain.domain.com

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

@showingsuite

Were you unable to successfully apply the CNAME record example provided previously in this thread? If you can reply with your domain name and subdomain you are using we can take a look into it’s zone file with you.

Maybe this will work someday. But what is the problem?

@shevv

Try adding god.dovinik.ru as a hosted domain instead of a subdomain within your hosting plan. This should force our system to create the zone file for god.dovinik.ru as the @ A host and have a WWW CNAME set up to point to that @, creating http://www.god.dovinik.ru.
