Here is the code I use to let people get to my facebook page:
You’ll need to do a couple of things before you use this code. You need to change out my page name with yours, and that long number (142639…) needs to be replaced with your facebook ID. Getting this ID is simple. Just open your facebook page, and in the title bar you’ll see a similar lengthy number…this is your page ID.
Here is the image I use for the little Facebook icon:

And here is the image I use for the bigger “follow us on facebook” button:

Just go to these links and do a “save as” to keep the images for yourself. This code is for my Quick Shopping Cart site, but I’m sure it should work for your Website Tonight site as well.
Hope this helps!

Hey there…I have the code for my facebook page, I just need to know, once I have launched the page designer for website tonight…
Where do I paste the code?

@kmbrly
Hi. In WebSite Tonight, you’ll open up a content block where you would like the button, then in the lower corner you would want to switch to the HTML mode. From there, you can enter the HTML code for your button.
Hope this helps!

@fhf
When clicking on your Facebook icon on your website, how did you get it to go directly to your Facebook page? When I click on the Facebook icon on my website, it goes to the Facebook homepage, and I have to log into Facebook.

Where’s the title bar on Facebook so I can get my ID?
Baillee said 2 years, 7 months ago:
@jbriarrose
Hi. I believe the instructions that @fhf provided describe how to take you directly to your Facebook page. Unfortunately the instructions that we have for a Facebook button will only take you to Facebook.com
@Crut11
The title bar that @fhf is referring to will be the address bar that displays at the top of your browser that lets you know what website you’re on. Embedded in this will be the ID for your Facebook.
Best of luck everyone!

How do you link your facebook page to the “find us on facebook” image? I can insert the right html code but on the page the image is a question mark.
I tried inserting the image, then adding the code, but the image disappears.
Thanks!

@DianeCA,
If you are willing to post your HTML code here, I can help get the image added. Did you upload the image to your own gallery? You should be able to add the image to a page, then click on the HTML tab and add in your HTML.
Hope this helps.
Thanks.

@metro
Hi. It sounds like you don’t have the image uploaded to your site. If you paste your HTML code here, we’d be happy to take a look at it!
