Changing background color of navigation tabs in a template

I’m using a template for my website and would like to change the background color of the tabs across the top. So far I cannot figure out how to do so. Anyone know how?

With most templates, you can change the color of the Navigation bar by using the Advanced Colors option. Information on using this option can be found here:
