Problem replacing image on website
sheila2 said 1 year, 2 months ago:
It’s been a while since I updated images on my site and when I try to replace an image within the text box (I originally used a template), I can’t resize the photo. Any ideas as to what I’m doing wrong?

@sheila2,
Whats the domain name of your current live site? Could you also describe the image you are attempting to change?

sheilasproule.com is the site. The image I’d like to replace is on the Home page, in the first box, on the right-hand side. When I replace the image, I can’t get the text to wrap around the image within the block. Thanks for your help.

@sheila2,
My apologies for the delay. After reviewing the home page of your live site, the image you are referring to does not appear to be a Template image, but a custom image inserted into the content block of your site.
You should be able to replace this image by simply double-clicking on the image while you are editing the content block. This should open the image editor where you can select another uploaded image and set properties; such as the size and text wrapping. Alternatively, you could simply remove the image from the content block and then add a new image through the details outlined in the following article:

I am having a simuliar issue. my live site is http://www.rugworks.com in the upper left corner of my template i have a text box and I can not delete it. It says i can add a image however the image is no bigger then the text box. if i could just remove the text box life would be much easier. any idea on what to do would be greatly appreciated.

@rugworks,
The image in the upper left appears to be a place intended for a logo image for this specific template. If you are not wanting to display a logo here, you should be able to remove it and still publish the site without any text displaying. The text you are likely seeing is only appearing in the Page Designer interface to indicate that an image can be placed here, it shouldn’t appear once you preview or publish the page.
Since this place for the logo is part of your template images, you will want to refer to the information provided in the following article to manage this section:
