Seo Fix 7 Page Content
Pages should have between 300 and 700 words of descriptive content that contains the keywords specified in the keywords meta tag for the page. A page’s meta tag keywords should also be those that occur most frequently on the page.
Page now, up pops a list of key word to use, Than immediately another window pops up and says , Dont use to many keys words???????? What do I do, one minute I dont have enough 300-700 content then next I have to much!

@wendel64 – Yes it has gotten a lot more complicated than it has been in the past, this is a result in people trying to ‘cheat’ the system.

Google can not read your website the way a human can. The site should have a good amount of content, which incorporates your keywords. The keywords should be kinda dense on the page, but if you go over-board it may be a sign your trying to cheat.

While you should have between 300 and 700 total words, you will usually want to keep you keyword density between 3%~5%. This would be between about 10-25 keywords in your page content. For example, if a keyword occurs three times on a Web page with 100 words, then the keyword density is 3 percent. While each search engine’s preferred keyword density differs, it is best practice to make sure it is high enough for the keyword(s) to stand out as a major topic of the page, but not high enough that the search engine thinks it’s spam.

Ok, Gary so lets say “The Lazy fox” The key word, should be on my website front page, where people read Right?
Also for the last 3 weeks I have been playing with this and I find that on the Austrila google when I put in usa investment properties I am first on the page, should I now play with my keyword or leave well alone, as last week I was nowhere, it would bring up all other companies, But now I am first on page.

I don’t think you get an accurate picture of your website’s google ranking by repeatedly searching using the same key word(s)from the same computer. It seems to me that eventually, your website filters up. You can try using a rank checker tool – try googling “website rank checker” for options.

The idea behind it is to have relevant content on your site. For example, if you have a keyword for “The Lazy fox” and this appears no where on the page, then this keyword isn’t going to do help you very much in search engine rankings. If you find that your current keywords are working well for you, you would not need to change them.

@michaelvqs

Thanks for the suggestion you provided. Searching for a rank checking tool can be useful in determining how well your site is doing. a
