WebSite Tonight Facebook Widget for Business Page

I can’t seem to figure out how to set up the Facebook widget on my business’ Instantpage website to link to my business’ facebook page, rather than my personal profile. Any advice?

You may want to try adding another email address to your Facebook account and associating that address with the business pages for your Facebook account. If the personal account and the business pages use the same email address, the widget will not be able to tell the difference between the two.

I think I’m having the same problem as the original poster. I have a business Facebook page and I want to link it to the Facebook Widget on the Home Page of my Website Tonight account. When I insert the Facebook widget, the only option seems to be to link Website Tonight with my *personal* Facebook page. I’ve tried logging into Facebook as my business and it still doesn’t work. Is there a workaround for this?

The Facebook widget used in WebSite Tonight can only link to Facebook Profiles. Facebook Pages can not be logged into independently on Facebook and are administered under a Facebook Profile. Because of this, you are only able to link the Facebook widget in WebSite Tonight to the main feed associated with a Facebook Profile. We will be looking into ways to import the feed from pages added to a Facebook profile. You may want to try using the widgets Facebook provides.

Having the same issue with Facebook pages and YouTube widgets.
Neither work and support only tell me to “republish” my page.

Not getting into details on how I republish the page when there is no republish or anything like it on this product. It just updates when I make the changes.

Anyways .. Free or not, If I have to use Facebook’s dev apps then that kind of defeats the purpose if using Instapages doesn’t it?

How about fixing the widgets to WORK before launching the product?
Yes, I am being arrogant because I just got a ridiculous “canned” response from support that I waited almost 18 hours for. Turnign to these forums shows me that this is an ongoing issue that isn’t getting resolved and support is making excuses and diverting people to not use their product. good grief.

If you were having trouble with the widget in InstantPage, can you provide a more detailed description of how they were not working? Also, please provide your domain name so that we can take a look at the InstantPage site to review it.

I am trying to do the same thing. My business FB page has a different email address to my personal FB page but GoDaddy will only allow me to link to my personal page? That seems crazy to me?!! It’s a “business” website so why can’t I link to my “business” FB page??
