i am trying to add wordpress, however website tonight will not let me upload files to a folder. please help

You will be unable to upload a Wordpress site to WebSite Tonight. You will need a separate Hosting plan to host the Wordpress blog. If you want to keep the WebSite Tonight site up and running along with the blog, you may want to consider setting up the hosting account with a subdomain like ‘blog.yourdomain.com’.

adam, i was able to create an RSS feed from wordpress. however, it cuts off the entries, any way to fix that?

It looks like you may be able to increase the default excerpt length of the RSS feed within Wordpress. You may want to check out this article I found at:

I tested this out with one of my personal sites and was able to change the excerpt length using the suggestion provided by @groomedmonkey in the thread posted above. You’ll want to update the functions.php file of the template you are working with.

So how would i go about changing the function.php in website tonight. i dont even know where to find it. i find this web editor to be real cagey with letting you tool w/ things

I apologize for the confusion. The functions.php file is not within the WebSite Tonight account. It is associated with the Wordpress site you are attempting to import the RSS feed from. The functions.php file will be in the folder associated with your Wordpress theme. The structure will be similar to the following:
yourwordpressdomain.com/wp-content/themes/yourthemename/functions.php
You can use the File Manager within the Hosting Control Center to make the changes to the functions.php file:
Editing Website Content Using the FTP File Manager
If you are adding an RSS feed from a 3rd party Wordpress website, or do not have access to the Wordpress files, you will be unable to adjust the excerpt length using the RSS feature built into WebSite Tonight.
