I was so frustrated when I previewed my site while I was building it, then when I published it, it looked awesome in IE, so-so in my Firefox and somewhere in between on my son’s Mac in Firefox. I would like to be able to actually preview what is is going to look like published! The fonts don’t show up correctly in preview, so I am guessing until I publish. I am using Windows XP and Firefox 10.0.1. My site is alexberrymotorsports.com
I am still working on it, but any input would be great!

@teeberry What exactly isn’t showing correctly in different browsers? Keep in mind that browsers can show sites differently, especially if specialized fonts are being used.

It is the fonts. So it is just something I have to live with? Not that big of a deal I guess, unfortunately the one with the font I like for the site name is IE.

Now I have another question. I can’t get my Facebook page to link, it keeps making me go to my personal Facebook instead of the Alex Berry Motorsports Facebook page, which is also mine. Any ideas on that?

@teeberry If specific fonts are required, the way around this would be to make the banner on your site (for example, since that’s where I noticed the most dramatic font differences in different browsers) in a photo editing program using that font, then using that image as the banner instead. That way, it’s an image and the font would be consistent across browsers.

For the Facebook option, you’ll need to make sure that you’ve logged into the correct Facebook account before adding the Facebook widget. If you’re in your personal account, it’ll automatically link the widget to that account instead of the other page.
