You should be able to use the “Lost your password?” link on your WordPress login page to reset your password. If you’ve installed WordPress through Go Daddy Hosting Connection and you never reset the password before, you can retrieve the original password from the Hosting Connection:
However, if you’ve reset the password, the Hosting Connection will not have your updated password.
If WordPress wasn’t installed by the Hosting Connection, or it was and you changed the password, or you cannot use WordPress’s password reset page (for example, if you lost access to the email address you had on your admin account), your only option then is to reset the password from within the MySQL database itself by logging into phpMyAdmin.
This option is a bit more advanced, so if you’re not familiar with working with phpMyAdmin, you’ll want to backup your database first before making any changes.
