I haven’t used wordpress in my account for awhile. I want to delete wordpress from my domain and start from scratch by reinstalling the latest wordpress and practice using it. When I do I get “Path is already in use by another application install.” I also deleted the old wordpress directory using FTP Manager and still gives me the same error. Any other ideas/ Thanks

@ralphd,
If you installed the WordPress through our Hosting Connection page, you may need to un-install the application through the Hosting Connection page. This may be why you’re receiving that error.

Hope that helps.

I have the same issue. I have followed the instructions of deleting the database, deleting the hosting and atsrting again but I still get the same error message

@graham999,
Was your install through the Hosting Connection page? If so, you may need to use the un-install instructions above to remove the application, as our system would still think it is present.

@graham999,
Glad to hear you were able to get the WordPress removed. If you want to use the Hosting Connection page to install it again, you can use the steps below:

@axis013,
I am not sure I understand the question. Leave what part blank? The domain name the installation is for or the folder path?
