Canceling Protected Registration
To cancel Protected Registration for your domain name, you must submit a request form. Turning off auto-renewal for Protected Registration doesn't cancel it. See the section below that applies to your situation.
To Cancel Protected Registration After the First 5 Days of Original Purchase
If you purchased Protected Registration more than 5 days ago, you must complete the following:
Submit a Request to Cancel Protected Registration. If you need further assistance, contact protectedreg@godaddy.com.
To Cancel Protected Registration Within the First 5 Days of Original Purchase
If it is within the first five days (120 hours) of initial registration, contact technical support to cancel both your domain name and its Protected Registration.
NOTE:When Protected Registration is removed, your account might not automatically cancel the domain name. The domain might have to be manually canceled after protection is removed. For more information, see Deleting a Domain Name Registration.
