Auctioning CashParking Domain Names

Date Submitted: 1-24-2012

In your CashParking® account, you can list .com, .net, .biz, .org, .info, .name, and .us domain names for sale on Go Daddy Auctions®. Other than .us, Go Daddy Auctions does not support country-code top-level domain names (ccTLDs).

There is no charge to list a CashParking domain name for auction, but you must have a Go Daddy Auctions membership. For more information about Go Daddy Auctions, see What is Go Daddy Auctions?

To Use the Basic Tab to Auction a CashParking Domain Name

NOTE: The Basic tab lets you apply sales options to the domain name(s) you want to auction. If multiple domain names are selected, the options will apply to all domain names.

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
  2. Click CashParking.
  3. Click Launch for the CashParking account you want to update. The Dashboard displays.
  4. Select the CashParking tab.
  5. Select the domain name(s) you want to auction.
  6. From the Sales Options menu, select List for Sale.

NOTE: If you are not a Go Daddy Auctions member, CashParking prompts you to join. Select a membership plan, and then click Checkout or Express Checkout to continue.

  7. From the Deposit payment to list, select the payee account you want to use.

NOTE: If you haven't added a payee account to your CashParking account yet, in the PayPal® email field, enter the email address for the PayPal account you want to use.

  8. Enter the following information:
    • Category — The subject matter you want to associate with the domain name.
    • Sub-category — The specific content you want to associate with the domain name.
    • Auction type — The buy/sell process you want to use for your listing.
    • Starting bid — The lowest price you want bidding to start at.
  9. Read GoDaddy.com's Universal Terms of Service and the Go Daddy Auctions Membership Agreement and, if you agree with them, select the relevant checkboxes.
  10. Click OK.

To Use the Advanced Tab to Auction a CashParking Domain Name

NOTE: The Advanced tab lets you apply separate sales options to multiple domain names. These options will not apply to all domain names.

  7. Go to the Advanced tab.
  8. From the Deposit payment to list, select the payee account you want to use.

NOTE: If you haven't added a payee account to your CashParking account yet, in the PayPal email field, enter the email address for the PayPal account you want to use.

  9. Enter the following information for each domain name:
    • Category — The subject matter you want to associate with the domain name.
    • Sub-category — The specific content you want to associate with the domain name.
    • Auction type — The buy/sell process you want to use for your listing.
