What are Express Email Marketing subscribers?
Express Email Marketing® Contacts are customers, members, contacts or any individuals who gave you permission to send email messages to their email address(es).
Express Email Marketing uses a series of demographic information to create a profile for each Contact, which is determined from:
- Information the Contact enters on the sign-up form for your mailing list.
- Contact updates on the subscription management pages.
- Information in the original record (customer database) imported into Express Email Marketing.
Contact profiles also contain public and private interest group categories that you can use to organize Contacts.
You can build a Contact list by entering Contact information directly into Express Email Marketing or by importing an existing list or database. For more information, see Adding Subscribers to Your List Manager in Express Email Marketing and Importing Existing Customer Lists in Express Email Marketing.
