Locating Your Hosting/FTP Login or User Name
To upload content to your website, you need your hosting username and password.
NOTE: If you've forgotten your password, see Changing Your Hosting Account Password (FTP Password) and Username.
To Locate Your Hosting Username
- Log in to your Account Manager.
- Click Web Hosting.
- Click Launch next to the domain name you want to use.
- From the Settings section, click FTP Users.
Your FTP Username displays.
If you have a Linux or Windows IIS7 Web Hosting account, you can change your Primary FTP User name by clicking Actions, and then Change Password. To see if you have a Web Hosting account, visit What type of hosting account do I have?
