Date Submitted: 1-28-2013

To upload content to your website, you need your hosting username and password.

NOTE: If you've forgotten your password, see Changing Your Hosting Account Password (FTP Password) and Username.

To Locate Your Hosting Username

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
  2. Click Web Hosting.
  3. Click Launch next to the domain name you want to use.
  4. From the Settings section, click FTP Users.

Your FTP Username displays.

If you have a Linux or Windows IIS7 Web Hosting account, you can change your Primary FTP User name by clicking Actions, and then Change Password. To see if you have a Web Hosting account, visit What type of hosting account do I have?
