About the Submission Status in Search Engine Visibility
Search Engine Visibility lets you easily track the status of your search engine submissions. For each of the search engines and directories you have submitted your Web page to, Search Engine Visibility lists the status as:
- Submitted — the submission process was completed successfully. It does not, however, necessarily mean that the submitted content was indexed.
- Failed — the submission process was not completed successfully. This may be due to a problem with the Search Engine Visibility submission service or with the search engine itself. In the event of submission failure, Search Engine Visibility attempts to resubmit your page.
- Pending — the submission process is underway, but not completed.
To review your submission status, from the Submit menu, select Your Website. Under Submit Options choose between the different listings to view your submission status.
