Easy Database for Websites has two functions. First, it lets you use JavaScript widgets to let users view, search, or enter information in to your tables of data. Second, it helps you manage and synchronize spreadsheets through a Web-based interface and spreadsheets on your computer using the Excel® 2007 Add-in.
Easy Database for Websites helps you organize and maintain any type of data you could store in a table or display in a grid: menus, rosters, inventories, schedules, etc. You can manage this data, publish it on your website, and keep it current.
For Example
Susan owns a coffee shop. Using Easy Database for Websites, she can embed her coffee shop's menu on her website and update it easily through Easy Database for Websites' Web-based interface.
Joe manages a resort. Easy Database for Websites lets him embed a reservation form on his website, and then manage the reservations using Excel 2007.
Katherine and Mark use Easy Database for Websites for their wedding website. Katherine uses Excel 2007 to manage and upload the stores on their registry. Mark uses the Web-based interface to manage their guests' RSVPs. Easy Database for Websites lets them use the same account to manage all of their information.
Holly manages a local Homeowners Association. She wants to let members of the HOA view their information online. Easy Database for Websites lets her make information private so HOA members can view their information with a unique password they choose.
How it Works
You create data tables containing your information — think of these like tables in spreadsheets. After creating your data tables, Easy Database for Websites provides JavaScript widgets for you to embed onto your website. Once you've successfully published your website containing the widget, any updates sent to your account also update your website.
Easy Database for Websites stores all of your data tables on our servers, which means you can access them anywhere with an Internet connection, and, using the Excel Add-in, ensure you are working with the most recent version of your data table, even if your computer has an out-dated spreadsheet file.
