Finding Your Hosting Account's Nameservers

Date Submitted: 4-5-2013

To make your website visible on the Internet, you need to point your domain name to your hosting account using nameservers. For more information, see What is DNS?

We list the primary domain name on your hosting account's nameservers in the Control Panel in your hosting account.

NOTE: This information applies only to accounts hosted with us. If you do not host with us, you can use the information in Setting Nameservers for Your Domain Names.

To Find Your Primary Domain Name's Nameservers

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
  2. Click Web Hosting.
  3. Next to the hosting account you want to use, click Launch.
  4. On the right, next to DNS, click View.

Both of your domain's nameservers display in the Nameserver(s) section.

To Find Any Other Domain Name's Nameservers

  1. Log in to your Account Manager.
  2. Next to Domains, click Launch.
  3. From the Tools menu, select DNS Manager.
  4. Under the domain name you need information for, click Edit Zone.

The domain's nameservers display in the NS (Nameserver) section.

NOTE: Changes to your domain name servers can take up to 48 hours to propagate.
