Changing Your ASP.NET Version on Windows Hosting
You can change your Windows-based hosting account's ASP.NET version between 1.1, 2.0/3.0/3.5, or 4.0.
Note: ASP.NET 3.5 runtime is backward compatible with versions 3.0 and 2.0.
To Change Your Hosting Account's ASP.NET Version
- Log in to your Account Manager.
- Click Web Hosting.
- Next to the hosting account you want to use, click Launch.
- In the Settings section of the Control Panel in your hosting account, click the Programming Languages icon.
- Select ASP 1.1, ASP 2.0/3.0/3.5, or ASP 4.0.
NOTE: Only Web Hosting accounts can use ASP 4.0. See What type of hosting account do I have? for more information.
- Click Continue.
- Click Update.
