Changing Your ASP.NET Version on Windows Hosting

You can change your Windows-based hosting account's ASP.NET version between 1.1, 2.0/3.0/3.5, or 4.0.

Note: ASP.NET 3.5 runtime is backward compatible with versions 3.0 and 2.0.

To Change Your Hosting Account's ASP.NET Version

Log in to your Account Manager.
Click Web Hosting.
Next to the hosting account you want to use, click Launch.
In the Settings section of the Control Panel in your hosting account, click the Programming Languages icon.
Select ASP 1.1, ASP 2.0/3.0/3.5, or ASP 4.0.
NOTE: Only Web Hosting accounts can use ASP 4.0. See What type of hosting account do I have? for more information.
Click Continue.
Click Update.
