Managing Renewals for Products and Services
There are two ways you can renew your products:
| Automatic Renewal | On the product's expiration date, our billing system automatically renews the product on an existing payment method you select for a pre-set length of time. |
| Manual Renewal | At any time you can renew your product using an existing or new payment method for any length of time you want. |

Automatic Renewal
You can select whether or not you want us to automatically renew products on their expiration dates.
Your products' current automatic renewal option displays in the Auto column.
To Select Your Automatic Renewal Options
- Log in to your Account Manager.
- Go to the Payments tab.
- Select the products you want to change, and then click Auto Renew.
- Select either Auto Renew or Disable Auto Renew, and then click Save Changes.
When your products automatically renew, they use the payment method associated with them, which displays in the far-right column of the product's row.
To Select Your Automatic Renewal Payment Method
- Select the products you want to change, and then click Update Payment Option.
- Either Select From Existing or Add New Payment Type.
- Complete any fields that display, and then click Save Changes.

The length of time your product automatically renews displays next to its name in parenthesis or after a dash. For example, both the following products renew for one year:
- Quick Shopping Cart - Deluxe Edition - 1 year (recurring)
- Unlimited Group Calendar (Unlimited Users) (annual)
Manual Renewal
Manually renewing your products gives you greater control over the renewal and ensures there are no issues with your payment method.
To Manually Renew Products
- Log in to your Account Manager.
- Go to the Renewals tab.
- Select the domains you want to renew, and then select their Renewal Length.
NOTE: You can also set the products' auto renewal statuses by selecting or deselecting the Auto-Renew option for each product.
- Click Continue.
- Select the products you want to renew, and then select their Renewal Length.
- Click Continue.
- Customize your order, click Continue, and then complete the checkout process.
When you manually renew products, we associate the payment method you use with the products you renewed. If you have products set to automatically renew, this means they renew using the last-used payment method. However, you can update the payment method at any time. For more information, see the Automatic Renewal section of this article.
