Disabling FastCGI in Your Hosting Account
FastCGI can break older versions of PHP and PHP-based applications and cause internal server errors.
You can disable FastCGI in your hosting account. Disabling FastCGI can help speed up your site and make it live again.
NOTE: Fastcgi must be enabled for accounts running PHP 5.3.x.
To Disable FastCGI in Your Hosting Account
- Log in to your Account Manager.
- Click Web Hosting.
- Next to the hosting account you want to use, click Launch.
- In the Settings section, click File Extension Management.
- Select .php4, and then click Edit.
- Select PHP 4.x from the list, and then click OK.
- Select .php, and then click Edit.
- Select PHP 5.2.x from the list, and then click OK.
- Select .php5, and then click Edit.
- Select PHP 5.2.x from the list, and then click OK.
