You need the following information to apply for a merchant account:
The social security number, Driver’s License Number, and contact information of the principals of your business.
The Bank Account and Routing Numbers of the Checking Account used for your business.
After you complete the online application, your Merchant Account provider will contact you, either by phone or email, within 72 business hours. The information you receive could be a request for additional information and/or a decision on your application.
