I’ve invited dozens of people to an upcoming event… and now I want to send them a quick note. This request would allow you to send a quick note to all of the people you’ve invited without having to add them to an email one by one.

It’s called a mailing list and if you use Eudora or Outlook, you can create a list of only the people you wish to invite and name that one mailing list “EVENT10302010″ Then place as many people into that EVENT10302010 mailing list. Forgot to tell them something or want to send a fast reminder? Easy, click on EVENT10302010 and it adds every single persons name to that one e-mail and bam! Send! They all get it!
You could also set up a distribution list when sending the first email. This will save everyone’s address and when you wish to send a follow up message, you can simply select the appropriate distribution list that has been saved.
