Auto Expire Links

Topic: Online Storage

You’ve sent a link to a customer to share a large file, but you don’t want them to have access after 1 week. An Auto Expire option would give you the ability to expire links to files or folders which you have shared with others. Vote this idea up or down or leave a comment and tell us what you think.

This would be very helpful… I currently pay SendSpace a premium price so that I can have this feature as well as the following: (I wish I could add these as feature to vote on!)

    - branded download page (my logo and colors are included on the sendspace page my client sees for added confirmation that this is from me)
    - optional direct download links
    - upload / download utility (not a browser based app)

I would love for the option for the online file folder to be able to send links from one of my domain names or a subdomain of one of my domain names.

Could be interesting, as long as there would also be some way to check that the person in question actually downloaded the file.

This is why I usually prefer doing such things manually.

This can be done with server-side programming (PHP, etc) and some CGI. But … if you guys provide it, I’ll be using it.
