This feature would save a significant amount of time by allowing easy access to a read-only calendar for all organization members

  • by MikeLosAngeles on October 31st, 2011

I’d mentioned this before as well. Yahoo offers a FREE calender accessible simply by an EASY url (for example: yahoo.com/coolexamplecalendar), and GoDaddy Calendar doesn’t.

GoDaddy has GREAT AWESOME products, but there are some things that are better with some free services that you don’t get with paid GoDaddy services. This is one of those things.

Another thing is the video-hosting program by GoDaddy… doesn’t even touch 1% of the power of YouTube… and YouTube is free.

But that’s beside the point here. :)

If it was added to an existing service without additional cost. Great.

YES, YES, YES. In all honesty to publish the calendar to the web(site) is exactly why I wanted calendar in the first place. I would love to authorize a couple of email addresses from each of the 40 groups I administer, and let THEM post their own calendar items. Please try your best to implement this feature.
    Thanks.

In all actuality, that’s whay I thought I had until I tried to set something up tonight and found this forum. I am going to have to use an alternative. I hope this will change.

    Thanx

    YES. HURRY.

Anybody know a calendar service for making reservations, updated after someone pays for a date range (e.g. rooms for rent).

  • by sparepartsband on January 13th, 2012

For a band like us, it would allow pages to be used to better efficiency; and we agree, would be best if it were a free option.

  • by flathead4 on January 28th, 2012

Yes. I would like to display a calendar of upcoming event for our organization and have several members that can edit events.

  • by Customer9000 on February 11th, 2012

Yes….a calendar feature would be great.

I could see a WordPress Calendar or Outlook Calendar function being very popular.

Also…a calendar feature like a shopping cart works would be beneficial.

If you have the correct url and features setup…it could be referenced.

    securecalendar.net vs secureserver.net
or calendar.secureserver.net would be my suggestion!

  • by Kapa on February 19th, 2012

yes, I would like to use an interactive calendar.

  • by MCole on February 21st, 2012

Yes, this would be great! We would love to offer it to our members so they can add our calendar feed to their smartphones!

  • by kofc12336 on February 22nd, 2012

I need to have a calendar that I can publish to my site to show readers the upcoming events. I can see one on another similar site but have found a way to get one and be able to update it.

  • by BNOC on March 15th, 2012

This lack is the reason I’m looking for another provider. I need a calendar where others can add events, meetings and I can delete or edit….

Come on GoDaddy, get it done.

  • by ARSNA on March 27th, 2012

Yes, a calendar would be wonderful and would help us tremendously!

  • by SoLook on April 2nd, 2012

All of the above would suit me

  • by 230elm on April 4th, 2012

does anyone have a work around for this problem.such as a link on godaddy site to a calender thazt I could change from my desktop or a lionk to a google calender

  • by piedrawalsh on April 26th, 2012

Yes, PLEASE this would save soooo much time.

  • by SGWCommunity on May 7th, 2012

Exactly what I would like to do to update an event calendar in Websitetonight
    PLEASE!

  • by AshdersA on May 8th, 2012

    Two requests:

GoDaddy Calendar App for iPhones so you can easily view your calendar and make updates anytime/anywhere. I am walking around with a paper calendar planner so I can make changes and then update on my godaddy calendar when I have access to my lap top. Not efficient.

Add color shading to tasks and events in the calendar so meetings can be color coded.

    Thank you!

Be grate for an organisation like ours to have it integrate with Outlook rather than have to import / export.

  • by RandyLosAltos on June 7th, 2012

Why is it even a question? A calendar is a must. Should be included in all hosting plans.

  • by CharleneD on June 10th, 2012

Now that you have a bunch of questions and suggestions, when will you be akng action on this, and what will it consist of ?

  • by Loulu_10 on July 20th, 2012

I agree with RandyLosAltos – ‘why is it even a question?’. Yes – a free interactive calendar is vital to my organization. I suspect most organizations need an interatcive calendar. Some examples of the calendars I have resorted to using are:

eventbrite dot com – costs (but can also schedule events)
    google dot com – free
    localendar dot com – free
meetup dot com – costs (but can also schedule events by multiple group members: some group memberships are free and other group memberships cost – depends on each individual group)
    yahoo dot com – free

And I am always on the lookouot for more FREE interactive calendars.

Looking forward to GoDaddy’s version of interactive calendar(s)!

  • by Milan_Thaker on October 29th, 2012

Yes please. Do this as soon as you can.

  • by Werner on December 28th, 2012

This would be sooo nice. We need to have only church committee chairs or alternates edit or add to the calendar but we also need the entire church and/or community to be able to view the calendar. A link from our website or a separate page on our website would work.
    Please get it done soon!

  • by TTTDS on May 18th, 2013

This would be very useful. To have a calendar that you maintain for events, and have them available in a calendar like format on your company’s web page is something I am trying to do tight now. It is necessary for advertising my events as well as letting people know if changes to that scheduled event(s)
