Real-time communication is evolving as we are all constantly connected whether via email, text, chat, or social media. Does a real-time messaging feature with basic online chat functionality, including file sharing, emoticons, voice, and video sound interesting to you? This is functionality that is long over due. In the world we live in, the ability to get real time messages is a must. I love my service from godaddy, but I will say this is one thing that is causing me to look at other providers and options.
It’s something that I would be interested in looking into with Godaddy. Right now, I am using an assortment of other services to accomplish this task. If I were able to have it consolidated in one spot, it would be a time-saver and less of a headache for my clients.
Some hosting packages already include some premier apps for this which is awesome for customer service, etc..
This is an excellent idea, that way we don´t need to open other programms such as messenger.
on my Android, text messages are “conversations” so I can see what I have said back and forth with a client all at once. The email system could be set up more like this instead of the current “letter” system?
This is a must now a days, GoDaddy email is great, but is lacking all of the flair and necessities every other FREE email service has available, trying to run a business with a business email is great but when you need a lot of the other tools, instant messaging, text and chat, or it keeps track of what you said is must now a days in this social society.
Please IMPROVE the email system.
Also, we shouldn’t have to provide the carrier the person has in order to text them using our email, with technology now a days, can’t you have the service where it finds the telephone number and the carrier once we provide the number?!!!!

the reason i still use my google apps account is because of the features. like someone said its a must in todays fast paced world.
Yes, but should be included with the hosting or email pack!
Messaging service for internal Go Daddy users within our office space would be a good start and should be an easy add-on. We are small and only have 3 to 5 concurrent users.
