iPhone: Set up Office 365 Email

Now that you got the coolest productivity tool on the block (Office 365 from GoDaddy), here's another reason for you to love it: setting up email on your iPhone®, iPad®, or iPod Touch® is a cinch.

If you have an Email Essentials, Online Essentials or Business Premium plan, there are two ways to set up your Office 365 email account on your iDevice, using:

  • Microsoft Outlook for Office 365 offered in the iTunes store
  • iDevice's built-in Email client

To Set Up Email Using Microsoft Outlook

  1. Install the Microsoft Outlook app, then open it.
  2. Swipe through the tutorial.
  3. Tap Get Started.
  4. Tap Exchange.
  5. Enter your Email address and Password, then tap OK.

To Set Up Email Using Built-in Email Client

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. On the Settings screen, tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
  3. Tap Add Account.
  4. Tap Exchange.
  5. Enter your Email address, Password, and a short Description (i.e. your company's name) for your email.
  6. Tap Next.
  7. Autoconnect will try to find the settings you need to configure for your account. If autoconnect cannot find your settings, enter the following information:
    • Server — outlook.office365.com
    • Username — Type your full email address (for example, holly@coolexample.com).
  8. Tap Next.
  9. Tap Save.

Now your account is all set up!

Pretty easy, right? Now that you're finished, go to Mail (it's usually in the row at the bottom of your screen). If everything is working, you should see some email messages. To make sure you can send messages, go ahead and compose an email and send it to yourself.
